Shop privacy policy

Last updated: 28 September 2026. This explains how we use your information when you use the Yo’s Home shop: the Style Finder, the pack builder, checkout and our online chat.

1. Who we are

Yo’s Home is a trading name of Owna Group Interiors Limited (company number 12699865, registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX). We are the controller of your personal information. ICO registration number: [ZA000000]. Contact us about privacy at shop@yoshome.co.uk.

2. What we collect

• Style Finder: your first name, email address, your answers (property type, bedrooms, guests, style, budget, priorities), your result, whether you agreed to marketing emails, and how you found us (for example, the ad or campaign you clicked).
• Orders: your name, email address, the items you bought, the price, the options you ticked at checkout (including immediate access), and your billing country and postcode. Stripe collects your card details. We never see or store them.
• Services and support: anything you send us, such as floor plans, measurements, photos of your property, and your messages in email or chat.
• Your device and visit: the pack builder saves your selection in your own browser so you don’t lose it. If you accept cookies, we also use analytics and advertising tools to see how people use the site and whether our ads work.

3. How we use it, and why we’re allowed to

• To take your order, deliver your files and provide services, because we need to in order to fulfil our contract with you.
• To keep tax and accounting records, because the law requires us to.
• To send your Style Finder results and answer your questions, because you asked us to.
• To send marketing emails, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
• To prevent fraud, check orders and improve the shop, because we have a legitimate interest in running a safe, working business.
• Analytics and advertising cookies, only with your consent.

4. Who we share it with

We don’t sell your information. We use trusted providers to run the shop, and they may only use your information to provide their service to us:

• Webflow hosts our website and receives Style Finder form submissions.
• Stripe processes payments.
• Make.com passes order and form information between our systems.
• Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive and Sheets) sends emails, stores pack files and keeps our order records.
• Meta and Google measure ads and analytics, only if you accept cookies.
• Our online chat provider handles chat messages.

Some of these providers store data outside the UK, for example in the EU or the US. Where they do, they protect it with safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK–US data bridge.

5. How long we keep it

• Order and invoice records: 6 years from the end of the financial year, as HMRC requires.
• Style Finder answers: 24 months, unless you become a customer.
• Marketing consent: until you unsubscribe.
• Files you send us for services: 12 months after the service is delivered.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you or another company. You can also object to how we use it and withdraw consent at any time. Email shop@yoshome.co.uk and we’ll reply within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).

7. Security

We only give access to the people and providers who need it, use secure connections, and never store card details. Pack download links are personal to you, so please don’t share them.
